Featured as Spotlight Artist in Art Map Burlington December 2009 Issue

I was very excited to learn that Art Map Burlington has featured me as a spotlight artist in the December 2009 issue.  I'll be at the Skinny for Burlington's First Friday Art Walk tomorrow - Friday, December 3rd.  Please stop in to say hello and grab dinner, a dessert crepe or just enjoy a cup of tea, a beer, or a glass of wine.

SPOTLIGHT

Spotlight: Sheila Poettgen at Skinny Pancake

Through early January: Mixed media work & original, limited edition prints by Burlington artist Sheila Poettgen will be on view at Skinny Pancake. For Poettgen, “the process of creating art balances polar characteristics and feelings - that of wanting to escape the world and that of needing to connect with the world. Art is the radiating point that serves as a guide, bringing these contradictions together, to one place.”
